13 January 2012: Projects encouraged from organisations.
20 January 2012: Student applications encouraged from schools and colleges.
20 January 2012 to 19 March 2012: Study the information from the Nuffield Coordinator. Register interest with your Nuffield Coordinator.
19 March 2012: Deadline for project proposals from organisations. Deadline for schools to register interest to receive list of available projects.
27 March 2012: List of projects available to schools.
20 April 2012: Deadline for completed student applications.
23 April 2012 to 27 April 2012: Students paired with projects and submitted to providers for selection.
30 April 2012 to 18 May 2012: Students selected for projects by host organisation. If they wish organisations can interview students for placements in person or by phone.
18 May 2012: Final decision from project providers on their choice of applicant.
25 May 2012: Successful applicants informed. Unsuccessful applicants informed by post.
28 May 2012 to 29 June 2012: Attend an induction event designed to help you get the most from your bursary experience.
2 July 2012 to 3 September 2012: Carry out the bursary project and complete a report.
14 September 2012: Deadline for student reports, posters and feedback.
27 September 2012: Nuffield Celebration Event. Students Display work.
